This thing is made of plastic #7, I guess that's not a good one for being microwave food safe (nothing plastic is but I guess this might be a bad one)
Anyway just thought I'd put this out here, hope it helps!
I know I'll keep looking for microwave steamer that is made of glass and the same size, want to save the time but not get sick.
This thing does fit in my small microwave.
